Our schedule is a routine designed to enhance children’s cognitive and motor skills. Routines are important in child development because it helps children feel secure while aiding in their cognitive and social development. In addition to playing guiding children in activities, it’s important for children to learn how to play on their own (free-play time) as we observe and monitor.
